Towards advancing our commitment on collective action through collaboration, Emerge Livelihoods hosted #TeamEurope Initiative Heads of Cooperation – George Dura, European Union in Malawi, Susan Meltl, Germany Embassy to Malawi, Sarah Mc Can, Irish Embassy to Malawi, Laurijin van Steenbergen, Government of Flanders, Paolo Sertoli, Italian Embassy; and Chika Charles Aniekwe, Deputy Resident Representative, UNDP Malawi.
During the visit, Emerge Livelihoods showcased the impact journey since inception, incubator and innovation hub facilities and products, and storytelling sessions by diverse MSMEs under the #Emerge4Biz incubation program supported through the EU funded Zantchito Malawiinitiative.
Additionally, Emerge Livelihoods’ engagement with #TeamEurope has launched key interventions amplifying MSME development across Malawi, including Kukolola, REAR Malawi and ASELD Malawi projects supported by GIZ; and SEED Regional Coordination and Emerge Fund launched with support from the Government of Flanders and OVO-Entrepreneurs for Entrepreneurs.
Much appreciation to the European Union in Malawi and UNDP Malawi for believing in our mission and collaborating with us to foster socio-economic growth for communities and create endless possibilities for everyone to thrive.
